Mr. Sujeewa Mudalige

Mr. Mudalige, with over 30 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, recently retired as Managing Partner of PwC, Sri Lanka. He is the Non-Executive Chairman of the Mercantile Services Provident Society (MSPS). He holds roles as an Independent Non-Executive Director at National Development Bank PLC, Chemical Industries Colombo PLC and its subsidiaries, NSBM Green University, Sherwood Capital Ltd, and Mahindra Ideal Finance Ltd. In March 2023, he was appointed Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Sri Lanka, and is a committee member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
He has extensive experience as an Audit Committee Chair in both public and private sectors and is a past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL). His career includes membership on the ICASL Council and the governing board of CIMA UK, Sri Lanka Division, among other roles. From 2012 to 2019, he was an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hatton National Bank PLC, where he chaired and participated in several board subcommittees. Additionally, he was the Deputy Chairman of the Financial System Stability Consultative Committee of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and a member of advisory committees for the National Economic Council and the Revival of Failed Licensed Finance Companies.
His qualifications include FCA (SL), FCMA (UK), FCCA (UK), and FCPA (Australia).
Dr. Sajeeva Narangoda
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / GROUP CEO
Dr. Sajeeva Narangoda is the Executive Director of Ambeon Holdings PLC and serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Eon Tec (Pvt) Ltd, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Royal Fernwood Porcelain Limited, Taprobane Capital Plus (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo City Holdings PLC, and Sherwood Capital (Pvt) Ltd.
His career highlights include roles as Executive Director/CEO of Colombo City Holdings PLC, CEO of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Executive Director of Millennium IT ESP, Director/CEO of Browns Hospitals Limited (now Melsta Hospitals), and COO of Hemas Hospitals. Since 2012, he has been an International Hospital Assessor for the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) and has represented Sri Lanka since July 2019.
Dr. Narangoda holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and a Master of Science in Finance and Management from Keele University, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) in Australia.
Mr. Savanth Sebastian
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Savanth Sebastian, with extensive experience in economics, financial services, and investment management, serves on the Boards of Nations Trust Bank PLC, Voguetex Pvt Ltd, and ArpicoAtaraxia Asset Management. He has 21 years of industry experience, including nine years as a Senior Economist at Commonwealth Bank, Australia, where he advised governments, high-net-worth clients, and internal stakeholders such as Colonial First State and the bank’s senior leadership.
Previously, he managed the International Trading Desk for Commonwealth Securities, the stockbroking division of Commonwealth Bank, overseeing transactions across 31 international markets and facilitating Strategic Trading Accounts for risk management and revenue generation.
Mr. Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Studies & Finance, is an Accredited Advisor of the Australian Stock Exchange, and a Master Practitioner of the Australian Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association. He has authored numerous research reports on macroeconomic policy and equity market analysis for institutional clients.
Mr. Samresh Kumar
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Samresh Kumar is a distinguished business leader and private equity investor with significant global experience in large-scale enterprises, investment funds, and high-growth ventures. He has managed over 300 transactions, invested USD 2 billion, and raised USD 1.5 billion in capital. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of SkyX Solar in Vietnam, he established the company as a leading rooftop solar power investor, with VinaCapital and EDF Renewables, France, as principal shareholders.
Formerly, as Managing Director at VinaCapital, he spearheaded private equity operations and formulated energy investment strategies. At Masan Group, he played a pivotal role in transforming it into a professionally managed conglomerate, growing its value from USD 600 million to USD 3.5 billion in four years. His career also includes key roles at SUN Group and founding an investment bank in India, with initial experience as a management consultant at Accenture. He has been recognized with awards such as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in Vietnam’s solar sector and “Solar CEO of the Year.”
Mr. Kumar holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech from IIT Delhi, both with academic honors. His professional journey has spanned Vietnam, Singapore, India, the UK, the USA, Russia, and the Middle East. A proponent of strong corporate governance, he is a certified independent director in Vietnam. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, with a passion for business development, sports, and supporting the underprivileged.
Mr. Jacky Tsoi
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Jacky Tsoi is the Managing Partner of Syndicate Capital, an international investment firm specializing in co-investments with core and specialist sponsors in sectors such as technology, financial services, green energy, education, healthcare, and industry. With over 20 years of experience in financial technology and services, Mr. Tsoi has a strong track record in strategic leadership, team management, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. He excels in navigating complex regulations, managing risks, and leveraging emerging technologies to meet business goals.
As the Director of Oriental City Group, Mr. Tsoi focuses on card acceptance/payment services for UPI in Thailand, driving growth and competitive market success. He oversees industry research, strategic direction, customer adoption, and marketing strategies. He is also the Convener of the Wealth Tech Group of Practice Committee at the Institute of Financial Technologists Asia and a committee member of the Institute of ESG and Benchmark. A recognized speaker, Mr. Tsoi has been a panelist at the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, discussing financial inclusivity and MSMEs’ access to finance through technology and innovation.
Mr. Tsoi is a graduate of the University of Manchester and a Qualified Accountant and Certified Management Accountant from Australia.
Mr. Ruwan Sugathadasa

Mr. Ruwan Sugathadasa is a seasoned financial services professional with over two decades of experience in capital markets, specializing in the Government and Corporate Debt Market. His expertise, gained through roles at prominent institutions such as First Capital Ltd and Taprobane Capital Plus, has enabled him to navigate complex debt markets, offer strategic insights, and drive growth. His comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory frameworks has been pivotal in delivering value to clients and stakeholders.
A notable milestone in Mr. Sugathadasa’s career was his role as a founding Director at Browns Investments PLC, where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction and was involved in key early acquisitions that facilitated the group’s expansive growth. Additionally, his leadership was evident during his tenure as a Director at Ambeon Holding PLC and its subsidiaries from 2013 to 2021, where he led strategic initiatives and contributed to the conglomerate’s performance and sustainable growth across multiple sectors.
Mr. Sugathadasa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Preston, USA.
Mr. Duminda Weerasekare
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With over three decades of expansive knowledge and skill experience, Duminda Weerasekare holds the distinction of being a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the UK.
He has served in directorial, CEO, and COO positions at several leading corporate institutions. His work experience spans negotiating and sourcing funding from international funding organizations and agencies, pioneering new funding sources in the country, and being commissioned by international agencies to develop strategic plans for development across various financial sectors.
He is also a recipient of a Fellowship from the Netherlands Development Bank.
Mr. Ravi Goonetilleke
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Ravi Goonetilleke is an experienced banker with over 30 years of experience across two banks. He has extensive expertise in operational and business functions, including Cash Management, Custody, Trustee and Fund Services, and Trade and Remittances.
During his 26-year tenure at Deutsche Bank AG, Colombo, he was actively involved in landmark business transactions in Cash Management and cross-border Custody, as well as Trustee and Fund Services product offerings. He has undergone extensive training in product, operations, and management across many countries in the region, including conducting country-specific product audits overseas. He was also a member of the local management team (OpCo) and retired as a Vice President.
Additionally, he has served as a product consultant for a local bank.
Mr. Goonetilleke holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales, UK.
